FACT TO PONDER. Of some 24,000 muskets & rifles salvaged
from the Gettysburg Battlefield, 6000 were found to be empty or loaded
with one bullet, l2,000 were found to be double-charged & some 6000 had
3 or more bullets with the record being l0.
